Merry Christmas Believers Church!

2024 has been a year full of fun and excitement as we work together to reach the valley and far beyond.

We are overflowing with vision to take the love and life of Jesus to people in the darkest of situations and your generosity continues to help us do it! Over the past 5 years, you have made it possible for us to reach our community and beyond with the compassion of Jesus. Through your generous contribution to our 2024 Compassion Fund, we were able to raise (at all BC campuses), $52,026. Wow! This year, we are looking to make an even bigger difference!

As always, we aim to be good stewards of the resources entrusted to our care. So, we carefully chose to support ministries and organizations which would not only bring immediate relief to those in need, but help them succeed in the future.‍

Through those ministries you helped people, in the name of Jesus, to:

·      Support disaster relief for hurricane Milton and Helene through Samaritan’s Purse.

·      Provide food, water, shelter & medical help in the name of Jesus to those devastated by the recent disasters in Israel.

·      Fight sex trafficking.

·      Recover from addiction.

·      Build life-skills after being incarcerated.

·      Take a stand against violence in our community.

·      Save the lives of over 257 babies in 2024, so far (2466 over the last 13 years just from our local pregnancy center!).

·      Receive prayer, food, education, housing and safety to children and their families here and all over the world.

·      Provide beds for children who had none.

·      Recover from the loss of a loved one who was martyred for sharing their faith in a heavily persecuted country.

When I think about our amazing church, I’m reminded of Paul’s words to a first-century church in Corinth.

2 Corinthians 8:7 But just as you excel in everything, and lead the way in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in genuine concern, and in your love for us, see that you excel in this gracious work of giving also. (Amplified)

You inspire us to excel in the grace of giving, and we couldn’t be prouder!

On December 15^th, we’ll begin to receive the 2025 Compassion Offering. Would you join Gina and I as we ask God what He would lead us to give above our regular offerings? We believe this is an opportunity to make the biggest impact to date!

How to Give: There are several simple and secure ways to give.

1. Online - Visit believers.cc/give and be sure to assign your gift to “Compassion” in the dropdown menu. It will default to the Warren Campus.  If you want your gift to go to the Boardman campus select “Compassion Boardman.”  

2. In the Offering - You can give from now on at any of our services. Just remember to use an envelope and mark “Compassion.”

3. Text In - Simply send the amount you’d like to give to the number 330-239-8881 (Example: $100 Compassion) or ($100 Compassion Boardman).  

4. Mail In - You can also send in your gift through the mail to Believers Church: 2577 Schenley Ave NE, Warren, OH 44483. Attn: Tom Jochman
