YOU CAN LIVE BY THE TRUTH WITHOUT CONDEMNING WITH THE TRUTH     

 

John 8:1 but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. New International Version

 

John 8:3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group New International Version

 

John 8:4 and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” New International Version

 

John 8:6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger.New International Version

 

John 8:7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” New International Version 

 

John 8:8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.New International Version

 

John 8:9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. New International Version

 

John 8:10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”New International Version

 

John 8:11“No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”New International Version 

John 8:31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then… New International Version

John 8:32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” New International Version

 

John 8:33 They answered him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?” New International Version

 

John 8:34 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it foreverNew International Version

 

John 8:36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeedNew International Version

We Don’t KNOW EVERYTHING

We Don’t WANT EVERYTHING

Judging Means We HAVE A THING

 

Matthew 7:1“Do not judge, or you too will be judgedFor in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. New International Version 

 

Matthew 7:3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? New International Version

 

Matthew 7:4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? New International Version  

 

Matthew 7:5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. New International Version 

 

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heartNew International Version
