Following Jesus takes a GPS of Trust.
Jesus will meet you by the shore, but He lives out in the deep.
DEEPER TRUST GROWS, WHERE THANKFUL REFLECTING LIVES
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. New Living Translation
Trust really begins where My understanding ends.
Genesis 15:6 And Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord counted him as righteous because of his faith. New Living Translation
Abraham’s trust in God mattered more than his failures along the way.
Hebrews 11:17-19 It was by faith that Abraham offered Isaac as a sacrifice when God was testing him. Abraham, who had received God’s promises, was ready to sacrifice his only son, Isaac, even though God had told him, “Isaac is the son through whom your descendants will be counted.” Abraham reasoned that if Isaac died, God was able to bring him back to life again. And in a sense, Abraham did receive his son back from the dead. New Living Translation
